British and European Standards

The Potassium Iodide test carried out by KI-DISCUS was part of British Standard BS5726-1992.  This standard became the foundation of the European Standard BSEN-12469:2000.

The test method for the retention efficiency at the front aperature can be seen in Annex C of BSEN-12469:2000.
